As 2023 boots up, I look back on how we scaled this newsletter together.
In 2022, I tried to get inspiration from the environment around me — peers, ex-colleagues, friends and entrepreneurs — and share those learnings with you through these newsletters.
I tried to stay honest to implementing all that I wrote in the newsletters in my own professional life. These newsletters helped me to evolve my own leadership style and became a guiding star for how I would act on a daily basis.
All in all, in 2022 there was greater engagement on the articles while receiving constructive feedback and ideas, that helped me to evolve my thinking about what to write. It was also humbling to get industry leaders to write for Scale It Up; I truly hope those were helpful.
2022 was also the year when I lost consistency on my weekly writing in the second half of the year. Work got busier and it became a bit much to manage the weekly writing. I want to express my gratitude for everything that came my way — the love, the engagement, the requests and the feedback. Thanks a lot!
I take this opportunity to list some newsletters from 2022 which will be relevant in 2023. I believe that as leaders, 2023 will require us to rise to the occasion to drive alignment, manage teams and businesses. Essentially, I would not be surprised if 2023 forces us to Scale it Up ;)
Leadership: While a lot has been said and written about leadership already, this section of the newsletter has been both, inspired by my leadership style and also been an inspiration for me to evolve as a better leader. Here are my personal favorites from this category:
